A Steam ID is typically used to identify a single user in a multiplayer video game and their Steam profile. If you make any changes to your internet settings or computer, a Steam ID can be used to log into your Steam client. When you create a Steam ID, a random number generator is used to generate your unique username and password. To search for a user's Steam profile, download a key from Steamworks SDK and save the file as text. You will need to be logged in to the Steamworks website to do this. Navigate and click "Change URL" to find the file that contains your custom url. Your custom URL is the URL of your Steam account.
