Linda, the protagonist of the story is an avid reader and yogi who enjoys the beach. Linda was on her morning jog and saw her favorite author signing books at the bookstore. She was excited and went eagerly to meet him. Linda looked at the author and asked him what he wanted to know about his new book. He replied, "I am Linda, and I love reading books. It's my favorite pastime." The author nodded in agreement and asked if she wanted to know any more about his newest book, Linda shrugged. The author began telling Linda how the story unfolded. He described all the characters, the setting he created, how he would have ended it, why he didn't end it that way, and what time period it happened during. Linda was intrigued by this style of storytelling. Perhaps this is why we love reading so much! She thanked the author, for sharing more information. |
