Barotrauma.This is damage triggered by an adjustment in ambient stress. This takes place during ascent and also descent in a plane and whilst diving. Obstruction of the Eustachian Tube causes absence of equalisation of the stress between ear space with the outside world. When the pressure adjustments during the activities provided over this leads to a stress slope throughout the drum. |
